If there’s one thing lockdown has taught us, it’s not to take any experience for granted!
Packing a bag, jumping in the car and setting the satnav to a new destination seemed a huge novelty last Friday.
Gone were the concerns of traffic, arrival times or where to stop for food. Clem and I simply blasted the radio with the roof open as we traversed across the stunning Welsh countryside. By fluke, we were taken the scenic way, and I’m so thankful we were.
Two hours of views fit for a postcard and two bridge-crossings later, we arrived in the beautiful coastal town of Anglesey. Somehow, we got incredibly lucky with the weather and managed to enjoy the most perfect May bank holiday weekend away with two of our friends, and the dogs in tow (of course!).
